The JYK series is built for exactly that: a toroidal auto-transformer in a compact, home-appliance-sized enclosure, available in a domestic version (220V stepping down to 110V/100V for running imported small appliances) and an overseas version (110V stepping up to 220V for the reverse situation). There’s no configuration to set — press the touch switch, and a built-in soft-start circuit brings the output up smoothly rather than snapping it on. Low standby power draw, low internal resistance, and a toroidal core keep the unit running quietly enough that most people won’t notice it’s on, and the minimalist enclosure is sized to sit in a corner or gap rather than take over a countertop. The range runs from a 500VA unit for a single small appliance to 3000VA for larger loads, each built to GB/T 9646-1999.
