Special Wire and Cable > Weather-Resistant Cable
LIFT Elevator & Hoist Control Cable
Designed as a control and power cable for elevators and hoists, the LIFT cable installs into conveyance systems and manual control units. Its external support wire can be removed without damaging the cable’s insulation, and construction options include a central hemp support cord (Trago type) or two external steel support wires (Lift-2S type).

Key Features
Flexible, Durable Control Cable for Elevators & Hoists
The LIFT cable combines high flexibility with strong chemical and mechanical resistance, and is available with either a central hemp support cord or external steel support wires.
Highly Flexible Construction
Extra-fine stranded conductors and layer-stranded cores deliver a highly flexible cable for control and conveyance systems.
Acid & Oil Resistant
Maintains performance in environments with acid and oil exposure common to elevator machine rooms.
Weather, Impact & Thermal Resistant
Withstands harsh weather, oil and grease exposure, mechanical impact, and thermal stress.
Removable External Support Wire
The Lift-2S variant's external steel support wires can be removed without damaging the cable's insulation.
High Short-Circuit Temperature Rating
Rated to withstand short-circuit temperatures up to +150°C, with flame retardance per IEC 60332.1.
Dual CE + UL Certification
Certified to both European CE and North American UL standards for global project compatibility.

Construction & Configuration
Trago & Lift-2S Cable Construction
The LIFT control cable pairs a PVC-insulated, extra-fine copper core with a choice of support structure — a central hemp cord (Trago) or two removable external steel support wires (Lift-2S).
Extra-Fine Copper Conductor (Class 6)
Extra-fine stranded copper conductor per BS 6360 and IEC 60228 Class 6 provides high flexibility.
Special PVC TI2 Core Insulation
PVC TI2 insulation per DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3 provides reliable dielectric performance.
DIN VDE 0293 Core Identification
Cores are identified per DIN VDE 0293, including a dedicated yellow/green ground core.
Trago Type: Central Hemp Support Cord
A central support hemp cord provides internal mechanical reinforcement in the Trago construction.
Lift-2S Type: External Steel Support Wires
Two external steel support wires provide load-bearing strength and can be removed without damaging cable insulation.
Chloroprene Rubber EM3 Outer Sheath
A chloroprene rubber EM3 outer sheath, standard black (RAL 9005), resists weather, oil, and mechanical stress.
