ZBW Contactless Electronic Voltage Regulator
Mechanical servo regulators correct voltage by physically moving a carbon brush — a process that takes over a second and wears a contact surface over years of duty. The ZBW series takes a different approach: a microcomputer-grade CPU samples voltage at 64 points per cycle through a 12-bit high-speed AD converter, then drives a contactless zero-crossing electronic switch that layers a synchronized compensating sine wave onto the output — no brush, no moving contact, no mechanical wear. That architecture cuts response time to approximately 10 milliseconds, roughly two orders of magnitude faster than a mechanical unit, while an isolation transformer, LCD monitoring, and a full protection suite handle everything from harmonic interference to phase imbalance. Available across the three-phase ZBW-S platform (10-1200KVA) and single-phase ZBW-D platform (3-50KVA), with synchronized or independent per-phase regulation modes selectable automatically or by hand.

Key Features
What contactless, CPU-driven regulation makes possible — speed, precision, and load flexibility a mechanical unit can’t match.
Millisecond-Class Response
Contactless zero-crossing switching corrects voltage in approximately 10 milliseconds — roughly 150× faster than a mechanical brush-type regulator's ~1.5-second response.
High-Speed Digital Sampling
A 12-bit AD converter samples 64 points per electrical cycle, with the CPU running real-time RMS calculation and digital filtering for accurate, noise-resistant measurement.
Selectable Three-Phase Regulation Modes
Switch between synchronized regulation (averaging all three phases to improve balance) and independent per-phase regulation, or let the microcomputer auto-select the right mode.
Zero-Distortion Sine Output
A contactless zero-crossing switch layers a synchronized compensating waveform onto the output, correcting voltage without introducing waveform distortion.
Soft-Start with Automatic Bypass
Regulates voltage before connecting the load, and can switch seamlessly to a utility-bypass mode without interrupting supply if a fault occurs.
Full Protection with Audible Alarm
Over-voltage, under-voltage, phase-loss, overload, and short-circuit protection trigger within 1 second, paired with an audible and visual fault alarm.

Construction & Configuration
Inside the ZBW regulator: how a CPU, an isolation transformer, and a contactless switching element replace the moving parts of a mechanical unit.
Microcomputer Control Board
An integrated circuit board with a microcomputer-grade CPU samples and processes voltage data at high speed; single-phase high-power units use a dedicated single-coil CPU processing path for improved stability.

Contactless Zero-Crossing Switch
An electronic switching element layers a synchronized compensating sine wave onto the output at the zero-crossing point, correcting voltage without a moving contact.
