BK Control Transformer
Cut open some “copper” control transformers and the windings underneath turn out to be aluminum with a copper-colored coating — cheaper to make, more prone to overheating, and unable to sustain the load their label promises. The BK series makes a specific commitment on that point: windings are genuine copper, never aluminum substituted in to cut cost, which is part of why the series holds efficiency at 98% or higher rather than losing it to resistive heating in an inferior conductor. The core itself is built from tightly stacked, size-sorted silicon steel laminations with strong oxidation resistance, giving it the load capacity and durability control circuits actually need — whether that’s stepping down supply voltage for a motor control panel, a medical device, CNC machine tooling, a lighting system, switchgear, or crane and hoisting equipment. Insulation resistance is rated above 50MΩ, and the range runs from a compact 25VA unit up to a 10000VA model, all built to operate reliably from -15°C to +40°C.
